Our Carrier, My Sister: Ambree

I am a wife, mom, and dance teacher. I have been teaching dance for 11 years now and am so lucky to say I love EVERYTHING about my job. I was born in 1986 and instantly had a best friend in my big sister Deja. We where raised in a very happy and loving home. Deja and I where always the best of buds (Well maybe not through our teenage years, lol). I always wanted to be just like my big sister growing up. Who knew we would be in this position today.

I met my husband Derek in June 2006 at the local water park. I wouldn’t say it was an instant love at first sight but after just a few dates we where madly in love. We married in July 2009 and since then it has been the happiest, craziest, most exciting, and hardest years of our lives. It took some heartache and faith to get our first child here, but our little Gavin made it all worth it. Then just 18 short months later we welcomed our little surprise Maycee to the family. Derek and I have a very strong, loving, happy relationship together. I can truly say I married my best friend.

Derek- is a calm, happy, and funny loving guy. He is a hard worker and the best dad I could ever wish for my children. He will be graduating from the University of Utah in May 2014. I am so proud and lucky to call Derek as my best friend forever.

Gavin- is our little spitfire. He is a happy, sweet, funny, and a very energetic 2 year old. Our little guy brings so much spunk and fun to our home and loves anything boys love including trucks, trains, backhoes, dump trucks, fire trucks, cement mixers, garbage trucks and anything else with wheels. We are so blessed to call Gavin ours and can’t imagine our lives without his sweet spirit.

Maycee- Is 1 years old and everything little girls are made of and more. She has a sweet and calm personality. She has eye lashes for days, a smile to melt any heart, and is very petite but fierce. She loves bows, jewelry, pink, glitter, baby dolls and Minnie Mouse. This little one struggled making it when coming into this world but fought hard and couldn’t be a bigger blessing to our whole family. She can bring sunshine to the cloudiest days.

Derek and I are so blessed to have a huge family to support us in all we do. We are so excited to help Deja and Lucas become parents.
